Ugh for me being tired. And exhausted.
Irish dance went well yesterday but we did the 2 most exhausting things:
First of all a reel - with softshoes (i find that more exhausting than hardshoes) and with hundreds of jumps in it ---> it looks wonderful, but when you have a dance that starts off with 8 (EIGHT!) high jumps... You know the next is most probably going to be a bit on the ouch-side...
Second was the St.Patrick's Day dance... It's the only irish dance that i really dislike. I don't know... Whoever invented this must have had only 1 square metre of space and a handful of favourite steps and tried to mix them in a way that feels as if you *want to walk but somehow can't move on*. Honestly. It's an exhausting dance, too as half of it is kinda... Well, you keep on jumping onto your left leg and it's the right foot that does all the movements, so after training this one for 40 minutes your left leg feels kinda stiff and ouch. Gah @ that one! Nobody seems to like this dance. Gah!
At least i know we won't train this one again next time. Don't want to train it this year ever again PLEASE!
Received a letter from Kaytee who's still ill and has fever... Poor her. :(
Wrote straight back to her and include a book with the letter - she loves reading, too. :)
Also received the agenda (diary) order i'd made from that esoteric bookshop --> the witch agenda for me and the herbs / moon agenda for mum.
Well, mine's ok. It's nothing really special, but it'll be useful. Apart from some info i already know anyway there are a couple of pics on the last pages and the holidays and moon phases are in it, but that's all. It's ok for the money but i wouldn't mind if *someone* would create a really, really, really nice agenda like that if you know what i mean. Hello? Anyone reading this and up to make one, print it, sell it? :)
The herbs / moon agenda au contraire is absolutely excellent! It's STUFFED with information, pics, recipes, etc. it really IS amazing. And yes, there's still a bit of space to write in as well. Now this is what i call excellent especially at this very usual price. YAY! I think mum will love it! Xmas pressie for her! :D
Will meet up with mum in the city centre later. Guess we'll go to McDonald's - cause they've this special thing going --> if you buy any of their menues you can buy a music dvd for 5.- chf (= about £2) and there's a choice of four, one of them being the Crush-Tour concert of Zurich of Bon Jovi! AW! Want that! We went to that concert and it was absolutely fab and i still regret i never bought the shirt of that tour.
Fingers crossed they still have that dvd! :D
