Lots Of Film News :D
Nov. 2nd, 2005 08:16 amOh, the goat has changed its look again. *grin* it's a xmas cap now. *lol* cute.
Am somewhat tired and forgot my mobile phones at home so... Argh. If anyone wants to contact me - email please. It's kinda annoying. I just hope nobody will try to call me on my business phone, but mostly everyone uses my phone here at work, so i should be ok.
Work yesterday was quiet again - yay!
Afterwards did some food shopping, then off home, then did some stepper training (ha! The longest i ever did on the new one - go me! Now all i have to get going is losing weight again. I'm stuck. :((( ), then packed a package for Michaela in Germany.
Since mum and me will go to Konstanz on Saturday, we thought we might as well send the package to her from there as it would be cheaper than sending it from Switzerland. Hope she'll get it more quickly then, too. I guess she may have use of something to cheer her up - she'll have to have a jaw operation at the dentist's tomorrow and is very scared... :((((((((( poor her!!!
Found another online shop for dvds and cds this morning, swiss:
http://www.1a-dvdshop.ch
Seems as if they have a bigger choice than cede.ch and exlibris.ch --> just out of curiosity i typed in 2 films i'd been looking for for ages and ages and that are officially not available anymore and they seem to have them. Fingers crossed!!!
One's *The Matchmaker* and the other one *The Phantom Of The Opera* --> film with Charles Dance, Burt Lancaster, etc. --> it's the only film that's ever been filmed in the opera house of Paris and it's really really really beautiful! The film i mean. Well, the opera house, too. *lol* anyway, it was a tv movie, split in 2 parts, and it's just so beautiful, so touching. I recommend it to everyone who likes the story anyway. It's slightly different to the book and the musical, but extremely well done... *sniffle*
So excited about that!!!
Made some cinema tickets reservations yesterday... This is the plan:
Thursday: Pride & Prejudice (c'mon, i haven't seen it for a while! ;)))
Monday: The Corpse Bride (looks good?!)
Tuesday: Elizabethtown :)
So if all works out, you know where i'll be on those days. *lol*
And have i mentioned that i LOVE the cinécard we've here? Cause all tickets are reduced and for Corpse Bride i even got good balcony tickets which usually cost way too much. Ok, on Mondays the cinemas here are cheaper anyway, but that's only on Mondays while with the cinécard you get cheaper tickets on all days - depending on WHEN you watch the movie.
Yay!
and since this is an entire entry about films (well, more or less), let me once more say DAMN THEM for not releasing Kingdom of Heaven here any earlier than the end of November!!!
