Happy Birthday To Mum - Yesterday

cheery enough today - it's sunny outside, cool, but nicely bright and sunny. i could actually see the sun rise this morning from the office. it was all red, the sky was burning. so beautiful.
we had a great time yesterday evening, celebrating mum's birthday - she had cooked this special yummy potato salad and some meat and baked that marble cake and it all was very yummy - so spoilt. :9 my aunt came around, too and for once was all fun and well behaved and even brought some things for the evening, too - which is a major miracle. she got those *Pavot* chocolates which are absolutely divine. dunno if you can get them anywhere else than in Switzerland? if you can - try them. D E L I C I O U S ! ! !
mum got her pressies and loved it all. she's taking the audiobook to her journey to the Czech Rep. as i'm lending her my CDplayer. so she won't get bored and will have someone telling her a good story. :)
she also got some text message from one of my colleagues at work saying thanks for the cake, then called me saying *who the heck is Patrick???*. *lol*
didn't do much more than celebrating yesterday. :) well, we did watch CSI Miami together which was very good again and later she had to pack her stuff for her mini-holiday. i hope it won't be too cold there. it tends to be more chilly there than here.
ah, i got the second roman mystery book by Paul Doherty yesterday. funny thing cause i'd received an email from the online shop the day before saying *it's delayed due to being sold out* - DUH??? *lol* it IS with the same characteres so i'm looking forward to reading it. :)
still feeling slightly *funny* so i don't know if i've some bug or not. as long as it doesn't get worse i'll be happy. fingers crossed.
