Jan. 13th, 2005 09:04 amso yesterday was a weird day... weird cause i actually felt better throat-wise but i had absolutely no energy during the day and no NERVES, either. fortunately not that many people really bothered me. thanks for that!
team meeting went fine - we got to know that our old boss who thinks she's the most important person of the whole company or whatever and now can't be bothered to talk to us anymore since we're not good enough for her complained our team's too loud. which is not true. SHE is the loudest person in the whole office. you can hear her making calls from the other end of the room (and it's a big room) and whenever she has a question she won't come to you and ask nicely, she'll just stay sitting on her a** yelling into the air. imagine that?
i don't react at such yellings. i mean... who am i? some slave? so she keeps on yelling the same words, for about 3 or 4 times and then finally stands up and yells over the wall (it's a small wall only, you can lean over it and talk to your *neighbours* and she has her desk right behind our desk row) angrily.
i mean, what kind of behaviour is that?
fortunately our new boss *knows* that, he *sees* it although he's only been here for about a month, so that's definitely good.
bah, with her it's such a story, i can't even be bothered to type it down. it's so ridiculous and stupid and exactly what a boss shouldn't be like... she took over the other team who got some of OUR team's duties and instead of asking us about those (since she wouldn't know half of them) she was all miss-know-it-all and didn't want advice whenever we even tried to help (which we then stopped soon) and now she's all angry and nervous cause they might be doing half of the things wrong. yet she still wouldn't ask. it's unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!! and i pity the people of her team - i know them well and they're more or less really nice people, they deserve a much better treatment.
gah, she just came in and is already sitting at her desk swearing. what a great way to boost the mood in the team!
the night out at the pub was great. it was fun and the food and drink was absolutely delicious. they have this DIVINE caesar salad - all freshly made and this absolutely DIVINE Bailey's coffee... mmmmmmmmmmh... and since we so indulged we later walked back home, so that was the exercise part. go us! :)
got the dvd *Dracula 2000* from an online auction. looking forward to watching that. :) i was lucky cause i couldn't find it anywhere in the shops and got it at a really good price. yay.
and at the same time sold a dvd that i'd gotten accidently twice. how good is that?
off to work - have piles of it today since 2 of our team have a day off.
